Guidelines

General Rules

• All student participants must carry their college ID card, while other participants must carry a valid identity proof (Aadhaar Card / PAN Card / Voter ID).
• Modest dress code must be strictly followed.
• Registration fee is non-refundable for both contingent and Non-contingent participants.
• On-spot registration is allowed, but must be completed at least 90 minutes prior to the event.
• Participants are required to report 45 minutes before the commencement of the event.
• All participant registrations are to be done through the official Scintillation website only.
• All non participants must pay an entry fee of Rs.100 to enter into the campus.
• Contingent teams are allowed on both the days.
• Once you complete your registration, a unique QR code will be generated. This QR code will serve as your entry pass to the fest and will also be used to mark attendance for the events you participate in. Please save and keep a copy of your QR code.
• Gate Pass QR Code: Issued upon registration; serves as your entry pass to the fest. Only one gate pass is issued per individual.
• Event QR Code: A separate QR code is generated for each event and used to mark attendance at that event. Keep it accessible whenever you're participating in an event.
• No food items and water bottles are allowed, students and visitors may buy from the stalls on campus.
• Vulgarity or misconduct of any kind—whether in speech, performance, music or costume—will lead to immediate disqualification and deduction of college points for the overall championship.
• The judges' decision for all events will be final and binding.
• No arguments from participants regarding the judges' decision will be entertained.
• Please refer to the Scoring Overview to understand your college's eligibility to compete for the overall championship.
• Participants may take part only in the events for which they have successfully registered.
• Any damage to college property may result in disciplinary action.
• Alcohol, tobacco, drugs, and other prohibited substances are strictly banned on campus.
• The organizing committee reserves the right to amend event rules, schedules, or venues if required.
• Participants are solely responsible for their personal belongings. The College and the Organizing Committee shall not be held liable for any loss, theft or damage.
• Any misconduct or misbehavior towards organizers, volunteers, participants, staff, or judges will lead to immediate disqualification without refund.
• Non-contingent teams can enter campus for free on their event day. Arrival on the other day will cost Rs. 100.
• Each college’s Cheer Squad must follow a distinct dress code for easy identification and inform their respective Event Heads of the dress code details and total member count.

Prohibited Substances

1. The possession, use, sale or distribution of illicit substances on college premises is strictly prohibited.
2. Illicit substances include alcohol, cigarettes, vapes, illegal drugs, controlled substances and unauthorized prescription medications.
3. Possession of drug paraphernalia, including items used for the consumption or distribution of illicit substances, is strictly forbidden.
4. Possession of prescription medications without a valid prescription is prohibited.
5. No person under the influence of illicit substances will be allowed to participate in or attend the fest.
6. Sanitizers, deodorants, perfumes, and similar items are not permitted on the premises.
7. Lighters, matchboxes, fireworks, explosives, and other hazardous or prohibited items are not permitted on campus.
8. The use of makeup, skincare products, or cosmetics is not permitted on the college premises, except for participants of events where makeup is an essential requirement. Such participants must present valid proof of event participation upon request.
9. Prohibited items and substances, if found, will be confiscated and will not be returned under any circumstances.
10. Participants must cooperate with the gate committee security checks conducted by the organizing committee.

Criteria for Overall Championship

Rules

• To be eligible for the Overall Championship, colleges must register for a minimum of 6 events in the 5-Star category and a minimum of 5 events each in the 4-Star and 3-Star categories. (a total of 16 events)
• The contingent registration fee is Rs. 20,000, inclusive of the registration fee for 20 cheer squad members.
• Beyond 20 cheer squad members, an additional Rs. 100 per person will be charged.
• Changes to the participant list for the contingent, once registration closes, will not be entertained.
• Only one team or individual per college can participate in an event as a contingent. Any other team or individual from the same college will have to register under individual registration and the winner of this team or individual will not be considered for overalls.
• Registration fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
• Colleges attending from out of station will have to make their own arrangements for travel and accommodation.

Scoring

Brownie Points

• The “Best Cheer Squad” will be awarded a total of 100 brownie points. ( for 4-star and 5-star events only)
• The team that participates in the maximum number of events will be awarded an additional 100 points.
